The Story of Le Prince d’Orange

Some restaurants are born from a concept.

Others are born from a person.

Le Prince d’Orange is, above all, the story of Éric Castaner.

A man for whom cooking has never been just about recipes. Here, it is about instinct, sensitivity, and hands at work until gestures become natural – almost artistic 🎨🍽️

Located at 16 Faubourg Saint-Germain, in an old house filled with history and passing lives, Éric never tried to erase the soul of the place. He listened to it. He respected it.

These walls once welcomed travelers, stories, and silence… Today, they welcome laughter, lively conversations, and plates that tell a story.

For Éric, cooking is a form of expression.

A dish is an emotion.

A sauce is a memory.

Service is a shared moment 🤍

Nothing here is fixed. The menu evolves, ideas flow, inspiration sometimes comes from the South, sometimes from the product of the day, sometimes simply from a feeling. What never changes is this simple and sincere intention: to give pleasure.

Le Prince d’Orange is not just a place to eat.

It is a place to slow down, to feel welcomed and recognized.

A house in the image of its host: free-spirited, human, a bit of an artist, always genuine.

When guests leave with a smile 😊

When some return year after year

When others discover the place by chance and instantly feel at home

Then Éric knows he is exactly where he belongs.

Welcome to Le Prince d’Orange.

Welcome to a house that cooks from the heart ❤️
